Iranian short ‘Horse’ vying at the US Kurdish fest

Iranian short film ‘Horse’ has been competing at the 4th edition of the New York Kurdish Film & Cultural Festival.

Directed by Rasoul Ahmadi, the three-minute short depicts a child’s struggles to save his horse.

Ahmadi has directed eight short films and documentaries and cooperated with many Kurdish filmmakers including Saman Hosseinpour.

The festival screens Kurdish films from around the world and includes Q&A sessions.

Due to the situation caused by the coronavirus, the event is streaming online from November 13 to 15.
